When you split up don’t say anything. To realize how to win back your ex you must understand that words are often empty so you should not speak. The best course of action is to agree with the split and break contact for a month.

1. “But, you are my only love…” actually any phrase that contains love. This is not how to win back your ex. If you are honest with yourself it’s a little late for this. You can say it again in the future, but now it will sound hollow and desperate.

2. “I have changed…” You cannot say this as you haven’t. Change is not possible in days or hours. People take longer to change. Possible you do have to make changes, but showing the results of the change is more important.

3. “But I got you this or help you do that etc…” Talking about the past like this is not good. This is emotional blackmail and has to be avoided as you are sounding like your ex must pay back something.

4. “I can’t live without you…” Really you can go on without them. Be strong, your ex isn’t the only match for you in the World! Maybe you will make a choice not to win back your ex.
